'Pathways With Purpose'
Commencing on 29th September pupils from S3 - S6 will have the chance to be involved in career insight sessions, branded 'Pathways with Purpose', being offered from a number of industries and individuals.
These sessions are designed to enable pupils to make informed choices about potential career paths and connect their learning and skills development to real world contexts. Further embedding our Core Purpose in learning underpins these sessions as outlined below.
- To empower young people to make informed choices about their career paths
- To connect young people to experts across many industry areas and connect their learning to future pathways
- To inspire young people to explore various industries, opportunities and pathways they may be unfamiliar with
- To embed a sustainable partnership with local, national and international employers and industries which benefits learners.
Sessions are limited to about 30 pupils and will be on a first come/ first served basis. The flyer below gives a rundown of the variety of employers we have visiting and the dates they will be in.
Each session will be about 35 minutes long.
- Wednesday sessions will be held between 2 - 3.30pm in B13
- Friday session will run between 10.45- 12.15pm in B13
