Apprenticeships and Job vacancies
As you think about leaving school you may be undecided between continuing your formal education and earning some money through employment.
One of best ways to combine them both is through an apprenticeship. You could find yourself running your own business in the future, working with wind turbines, animals or young children. There are lots of different options starting with Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQ's) and Modern Apprenticeships right through to graduate and professional apprenticeships.
As an apprentice you would
- Work for an employer
- Study and get a qualification - from SCQF L4 (National 4 level) to degree level
- Choose an apprenticeship that takes 1 - 5 years
