Following the school VSE, a report was written that was shared and discussed at West Lothian Education Quality Assurance Committee (EQAC) on Tuesday 16th January 2024.
PURPOSE OF REPORT To bring to the Committee's attention Linlithgow Academy's validated self-evaluation and identified areas for improvement for session 2023-2024. The VSE specifically looked at HGIOS (opens new window) indicators 2.3 Learning, Teaching and Assessment and 3.2 Raising Attainment and Achievement.
CONCLUSION This report highlights many strengths of Linlithgow Academy in learning, teaching and assessment and raising attainment and achievement. The local authority is satisfied that Linlithgow Academy will continue its improvement journey in both quality indicators to ensure that its young people maximise their progress and achievement.
