Every child and young person is entitled to personal support. To ensure that all pupils are happy, safe and achieving their potential in school, Linlithgow Academy staff work closely with pupils, parents/carers and partners to ensure that learners benefit from a proactive and flexible support provision.
Welcome to Pupil Support
In Linlithgow Academy we organise pupil support based on a House system. The House team offer all pupils support with health and wellbeing, reviewing their learning, planning next steps, and planning for choices and changes. Every pupil is allocated to a House. It is hoped that the House team works with the same pupil from S1 to S6, and pupils from the same family will be allocated to the same House. Pupils are taught Personal and Social Education (PSE) by their House Head. Our Houses are called: Bell, Kelvin and Watt. Click here for more information about our House names: Houses
We adopt GIRFEC principles to ensure learners receive sustained, coherent and integrated support throughout their school journey.
