How the school day works

Parents are responsible for ensuring that their children attend school regularly and arrive on time. They are also responsible for ensuring the safety of their children on their journeys to and from school.

Our S.A.F.E. Uniform Policy has been agreed following consultation with parents, pupils, staff and the Parent Council.

We want to support the creation of a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that nurtures positive relationships among staff, students, and the broader school community. It reflects Linlithgow Academy's vision, values, and dedication as a Rights Respecting School.

At Linlithgow Academy we recognise the need to reduce the cost of the school day for all our young people and particularly for our young people who are already experiencing poverty.

Linlithgow Academy operates a 'mobile phone free classroom' policy.

Digital technology offers education a powerful learning tool to help enhance learning and teaching across the whole curriculum. Therefore, it is important that staff and pupils have access to technology so that they can benefit from it.
