Faculties at Linlithgow Academy aim to build a curriculum that develops a culture where learners take responsibility for their own learning and are engaged across the Broad General Education (BGE) and into the Senior Phase.  This also involves looking for additional accreditation opportunities and wider achievement pathways that our learner can be engaged in.   

SQA/SCQF and Wider Achievement Pathways

To widen access and opportunities for our learners across all attainment levels Linlithgow Academy is continually looking to build our curriculum offers. To do this we use the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) as a key source of information. SCQF Information (opens new window)

This Framework contains not only the SQA qualifications you will be familiar with but also access to many other qualifications that are recognised by SQA, employers and Universities.
