Our School Values in action
This page summarises our school values and gives some examples of how we exhibit these on a daily basis
Values in Action Explore how kindness, curiosity, perseverance and fairness are brought to life across Linlithgow Academy, with direct links to current school evidence, improvement priorities and wider examples from our website. Kindness creates a school where everyone feels welcome, supported and respected. Learners experience visible support, stronger relationships and a more caring school environment through wellbeing, family and drop-in approaches. Curiosity drives learning, creativity and new opportunities across the school. Learners shape their experience through pupil voice, develop understanding of pathways, and engage more deeply with learning through CORE and SCQF opportunities. Perseverance is about resilience, effort and determination over time. Learners build resilience and progress through strengthened pathways, improved engagement, and a clearer focus on tracking, monitoring and sustained achievement. Fairness helps build an inclusive school where every learner feels respected and valued. Learners benefit from systems that promote inclusion, wellbeing, equity and access to support, helping all young people participate fully in school life.
