Careers Evening/ 'Moving into Senior Phase' Presentation: Thursday 19th January
On Thursday 19th January we have nearly 50 companies/organisations/Universities joining us for our Careers Evening. The evening runs between 6pm -8pm in the Sports hall and all are welcome so please enter the building via the Sports Hall entrance rather than the school main entrance. Stalls are set up across the hall allowing parents/carers/students to choose where to spend your time. To avoid congestion can we ask that parents of pupils in S4-S6 wishing to attend aim to arrive at 6, leaving at 7pm and parents of S1-S3 pupils arrive at 7pm, leaving at 8pm.
This Careers Evening event is also part of our upcoming Curriculum Course Choice activities as pupils in S2-S5 begin to consider their subject pathways for session 2023.2024. More information on this process coming very soon!
'Moving into Senior Phase Presentation' for parents of S3 pupils
Parents/carers of S3 pupils:
In addition to the Careers Evening there will also be a 'Moving Into Senior Phase Information Session' on the same evening (19th) but in the Assembly Hall between 6pm-7pm. This will give you an opportunity to listen to senior staff talk through your child's move into S4, the Senior Phase curriculum and rationale and other specific information with regards upcoming course choice decisions. All parents/carers of S3 pupils are welcome to attend including your S3 child.
