Changes to the test kit log and consent arrangements are being made to reduce the administrative burden and make it easier to get test kits into the hands of pupils and staff.  The new arrangements allow us to hand out test kits proactively. These changes will be effective from tomorrow 15/12/21. Guidance has been updated so that testing can take place on the basis of implied agreement to participate, based on participants having been given appropriate information and choosing to collect and use a test kit. As such, we will now set up collection points in the school reception for distribution of kits at morning and lunch intervals for pupils.

Please see the attached letter for more information.

Plans for testing on return after the festive break

The testing programme will continue as at present after the Christmas holiday.  Please ensure your child has enough test kits before going on holiday, so they can continue/resume regular testing and test in the week prior to return from holiday. Please ensure your child takes a test shortly prior to return (the night before, or the morning of, their return to school), and to continue testing and reporting regularly thereafter.
