Scottish Fencing Team - Ex-pupil involvement

The Commonwealth Fencing Championships are being held in Canberra in November.

Three ex-pupils, Ellie Wigham, Jack Douglas and Callum Johnston (current Scottish and British champion), are in the team.

They are products of the Linlithgow Academy Fencing School, run by Wallace Fencing Academy. As far as we are aware, no other school is represented like this.

A further three of the team are Wallace fencers.

Fencing funding is non-existent - the team are paying their own way to the competition. As a result, the school fencing club, along with Wallace Fencing Academy will be looking at a fund-raiser in the coming month or so - watch the school website for details.
