Following the SQA exam arrangements update on 16 November 2022, SQA have now provided further information on the services that will be available for learners facing exceptional circumstances during their exams or those who believe their final grade is incorrect. They have included information on how decisions were made and how they are supporting school and our learners this year while we continue to experience the impact of disruption to learning and teaching.
The 2022-23 modifications to assessment in National 4, National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher courses, as well as some National 3 courses and freestanding units, are already in place. Summary documents for each subject were published in August 2022 on National Qualifications subject pages. You can also view a summary table of the modifications made to each course on our website.
As noted in our November update, there are no plans to provide any additional revision support materials including any further notification of exam topics, content or context. Subject-specific revision support materials were provided in 2022 in recognition of the specific challenges facing learners last year. General tips and advice on revising for and sitting exams will be provided in the Your Exams booklet that will be distributed to learners in March.
