How the school day works

Our S.A.F.E. Uniform Policy has been agreed following consultation with parents, pupils, staff and the Parent Council.

At Linlithgow Academy we recognise the need to reduce the cost of the school day for all our young people and particularly for our young people who are already experiencing poverty.

Parents are responsible for ensuring that their children attend school regularly and arrive on time. They are also responsible for ensuring the safety of their children on their journeys to and from school.

It is part of our school policy to work closely and in partnership with parents to ensure your child gains maximum benefit from their education at Linlithgow Academy.

The awards presented at our Annual Awards Ceremony in September each year form part of the formal recognition of pupil achievement in Linlithgow Academy

We understand the positive impact that school excursions and residential trips can have on young people and recognise that excursions out of school enhance pupils' educational experience.
