Student Leadership Team

A welcome message from our Student Leadership Team for session 2025.2026

Head Students 2025.2026

Our aims for this year....

Our school believes in pupils, parents and staff having their voice not just heard, but also acted upon. Which is why this year, we will strive to improve our communication across the school community, so we can work together as a team to continue to improve how our school feels. We want everyone to feel valued, included and respected and will keep this at the heart of all work we do, and we know building strong relationships is the key to this. Our school vision, 'Together We Thrive' encourages us to make Linlithgow Academy feel like home and be a place where all young people feel they belong.

A little bit about us......

Elsie-

Hi! I'm Elsie and I'm so thrilled to have been chosen to be one of the Head Student of Linlithgow Academy for the academic year 2025/26. I am very excited to work alongside my fellow head students to represent the school and to strive for positive and meaningful changes for the whole school community. My hobbies include playing the clarinet and viola, playing tennis and I was a highland dancer for 8 years. These hobbies have helped to grow my confidence, resilience and dedication, which I will carry into the role of Head Student. I have always enjoyed school, and my favourite subjects are Maths and Spanish. I can't wait to spend my final year in school helping to give back to Linlithgow Academy, the school which has shaped so much of who I am. Here's to a great year!

Tom-

Hi, I'm Tom and I'm thrilled to be one of the head students at Linlithgow Academy this year. I'm really looking forward to working alongside Elsie, Isaac and Maisie to try and help make this a great year for the school and further improve our school community. I think it's really important that every student feels valued and has opportunities to be involved in school life. I play on the school rugby team and love being part of the team. Rugby has taught me so much about teamwork, communication and leadership which are skills I'm excited to bring to my role as head student. I'm a pretty approachable person so I'm always happy to stop and chat to someone if they have any worries or just want to talk. I'm really excited about the coming year and can't wait to get started.

Isaac -

Hi, I'm Isaac, and I'm thrilled to be one of the new Depute Head Students at Linlithgow Academy. It's a real honour to take on this role, and I'm looking forward to working closely with the leadership team and all the prefects to make this a fantastic year for everyone.

I'm committed to helping create a positive and welcoming environment for all. I'm ready to listen and encourage you to share your ideas to help shape our school community. Whether it's a small suggestion or a bigger change, let's make it happen. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends, playing golf and travelling. I've been involved in Linlithgow Rose football as both a player and a referee. This experience has helped me develop team skills and taught me the importance of staying calm, fair, and respectful, in challenging situations.

Linlithgow Academy is more than just a place to learn; it's where I've grown, made great friends, and created lasting memories. Now, I want to help others feel that same sense of belonging. I'm proud to be part of a team dedicated to making a positive difference, and I'm excited to see what we can achieve together this year.

Maisie -

Hello! My name is Maisie and I am absolutely thrilled to be part of the student leadership team this year. During my time at the academy, I have experienced firsthand how our school community supports and celebrates each pupil, and I am excited to give back by helping others feel equally valued and respected. I have a keen love for learning, my favourite subjects being English and Spanish, and I aim to work hard to help every student enjoy coming to learn here. I'm always around school if you want to share an idea, need help with something, or just want someone to talk to - I would love to chat! Over the years, I have enjoyed being involved in various clubs and activities such as the school orchestra, while outside of school I love running, travelling, and spending time with my friends and family. It's an honour to take on this role and I can't wait for the year ahead!
