S1 Boys Football Update

The S1 boy's football team are continuing to go from strength to strength.

After 2 highly competitive trials, the team drove down the road to Blackburn to play against the coach's alma mater: Bathgate Academy.

Despite having many chances in the first half the boys went into the break one nil up, with the final 1-1 scoreline a fair reflection of two evenly matched teams.

Just recently the team had the opportunity to put to rest their demons against Inveralmond and came out convincing 10-1 winners: Kerr Roberston and Matthew Sweeney taking away match balls after scoring 4 and 3 respectively.

The boys need all the support they can get in their upcoming Scottish Cup tie away to Currie, who have a long history of being at the top level of schools football. Good luck!
