With SportsScotland funding West Lothian Council has built a spacious state-of-the-art sports facilities, with reception manned in the evenings and Saturday morning, namely

4-court Sports Hall with changing rooms and in built seating suitable for:

• Basketball
• Badminton
• Netball
• Tennis
• Volleyball
• Handball
• Fencing
• Gymnastics

A well equipped Fitness suite with cardio vascular and toning equipment
A community classroom and mirrored dance studio with full audio facilities.

We also have a swimming pool and tennis facilities available to hire by sports clubs and local community groups and organisations.  Our outdoor all weather pitch is also popular.

Linlithgow Academy has extensive car parking facilities with easy access to the M8 and M9 motorways.

The railway station in this historic burgh is well served by trains as it is on the main Edinburgh to Glasgow line.

Standard opening times (Sports Extension)

• Monday - Friday: School closing time - 9.45 pm (5.45 pm - 6.45  pm/6.45 - 7.45 pm/7.45 pm - 8.45 pm/8.45 pm - 9.45 pm)
• Saturday 9 am - 2 pm (or as agreed)
• Sunday 9 am - 2 pm (or as agreed)

Staffing: Please note a Sport and Leisure Assistant is on duty from 5.30 pm - 10 pm school weekdays and 8.45 am - 1.30 pm school weekends. During the holidays, as the Sports facilities tend to be quieter, staff are available on busy days only.
