Linlithgow Academy's buildings play host to several groups within the community who are regular users of our lets.
Facilities available to book at Linlithgow Academy include an all weather pitch (with pavilion); a sports complex (games hall, swimming pool); and theatre facilities. Details can be found by clicking the link sat the bottom of the page.
Lets should be aware that on booking a facility it is your responsibility to adhere to all rules that are included in your let agreement and to pass this on to all parties that are involved in the Let.
We would ask that the utmost respect be shown to the facilities that are provided and should there be any issues if you could bring it to the attention of the school office at your next convenient moment.
Several organisations use the facilities here on a regular basis. The link at the bottom of the page will give some details of this wider community family, and provide links to those groups' websites.
LYPP (Linlithgow Young People's Project)
Linlithgow Young People's Project (LYPP) is a youth project which was planted in the heart of the community, more than 25 years ago in partnership with the churches in Linlithgow. It's fundamental purpose then, as it is today was to support the young people of Linlithgow and the surrounding areas in all aspects of their development. Our primary focus is to foster a sense of 'hope' in the lives and circumstances of young people we come in contact with.
The Memorial Poppy Project
As part of the World War One Centenary commemorations, a group of Staff and Pupils from the Academy set out to remember the 27 ex-pupils who fell in that war in special way. The link on the right-hand side will explain that project.
