BGE S1-S3 Curriculum

Our Broad General Education phase has a clear purpose - to provide the breadth and depth of education so our young people have the knowledge and skills they will need to thrive now and in the future.

Senior Phase Curriculum Model

The senior phase of Curriculum for Excellence lasts from S4 to S6 (from around ages 15 to 18). It follows a young person's broad general education, building firmly on the Experiences and Outcomes they will have experienced and achieved to end of S3.

S1-S3 BGE Mathematics progressing into Senior Phase Mathematics

The Mathematics Department at Linlithgow Academy aim to build a curriculum developing a culture where learners take responsibility for their own learning and are engaged across the Broad General Education (BGE) and into the Senior Phase.

School Timetable 2025.2026

Our new academic session will commence on Monday 2nd June. Due to the cyber incident, we are working hard to ensure we meet this deadline and will update you again this week with our progress and next steps.
