A big Thank you!

Thank you so much for your amazing support in getting out Parent Council Fundraising Group off to a great start! The funds so far have been raised by YOU taking part in the Linlithgow Academy Lottery and buying refreshments from our stalls at relevant school events such as concerts and career festivals. We also owe a HUGE thank you to the Round Table who made a very generous contribution to the science department. Please see the collage above of some of the items we now have in departments, enhancing our young people's education. It's just amazing that we have been able to support the school this way but..... we want to do more!

The list of high priority items, shared by Principal Teachers, still has plenty of items on it which requires more fundraising. As a group of parents we are small but mighty and building our resource of parents who are able to commit pockets of time to support future events.

In the meantime we are very aware that all parents can't always commit time to our events so we are asking if our wider parent, grandparent, carer and friends of Linlithgow Academy family can consider contributing to the next items on our list via direct sponsorship.

We have added these items to our sum up shop where you can purchase a sponsorship contribution of any value affordable to you, starting from £1. These can be seen in the shop next to items and multiples of a value can also be purchased if you feel you can afford a wee bit more to sponsor these items and support the school. With c 750 families at our school there is a real potential to make a difference, even with a small contribution - everything counts :-)
