University open days give you an opportunity to visit a university and see if you would like to study there.

Attending these events is an important part of the application procedure as a visit to a particular university can either inspire you to want to go to that university or let you decide that it is not the place for you. You are encouraged to attend as many open days as possible to help make the correct decision for you. Some universities have two possible open days - one during the week and one at a weekend.

School will give you time off to visit three university open days during school time. 

Please note that most universities require you to book a place in advance on an open day.
