#TeamLinAc - Track and Field experts

Linlithgow Academy successfully defended their Track & Field crown by winning the West Lothian Sports event on Wednesday the 13th of June for the 3rd year in a row.  The whole team did exceptionally well but particular praise must go to the medal winners listed below.

It was a team effort however, and every position gained earned points for the team so well done to all the pupils who took part in the event.

S1-2 Boys Relay - Adam Laidlaw, Ross Wells, Kamil Spalony & Luke Callaghan - Gold Medal

S3 Girls Relay - Isla Calvert, Sophie Ward, Elinor Geddes & Emily Earsman - Gold Medal   

S3 Boys Relay - Darren Mitchell, Marc Cunningham, Callum Evans & Stanley Flint - Bronze Medal

Senior Girls Relay - Sarah Calvert, Sophie Walker, Ellie Hutcheon & Rosie Scotland - Bronze Medal

 

A huge success by all.  Along with this result and all the other sporting successes had this year the school yet again placed 3rd overall in the West Lothian Schools Sports Competition Calendar so congratulations to all the students across the school who have contributed to sport at some point and to all the staff who have shown support to the students and who have ran teams or taking students to competitions.
