MARY'S MEALS - BACKPACK PROJECT

Two years ago Linlithgow Academy sent, through the charity Mary's Meals, over 100 filled backpacks to African nations in which impoverished children without basic resources struggle to gain an education.

This autumn, we hope to repeat this success!  Please hand in, to Mrs Armstrong (C21), any usable backpacks you may have. These can be for any age group or gender of child from around 4 yrs to 12yrs.

We also need donations of:  tee-shirts you may have outgrown; towels still in usable condition; flip flops, a small ball or other pencils, rulers, erasers, notepads, pencil cases, coloured pencils or crayons and spoons.

You can also fill and hand in a filled backpack: please see details on the Mary's Meals Backpack Project (opens new window) website.
