James Watt
FRS, FRSE
James Watt was a Scottish inventor, responsible for the development of the steam engine which powered the Industrial Revolution, one of the major turning points in world history.
The unit of power the Watt is named after him. He showed enthusiasm, creativity and commitment to all he did and we believe he is someone to admire and emulate. We are pleased that our House colour is red as it is vibrant and reflects our passion for life.
To be part of Watt House is to be part of a warm, friendly and supportive House. We celebrate all good news together, whether it be academic, sporting or any personal successes. Together, we achieve it all! We are the Power House.
