Thank you for all of your donations on the run up to the festive period! We are starting 2020 with these 3 items to focus on:

 

- Tinned Cold Meat

- Male and Female Deodorant

- Dog Food

 

Firefly is a youth arts organisation that provides youth theatre and arts provision in local communities and schools across West Lothian. Firefly's Linlithgow young theatre makers, 'Company La' meet every Thursday night from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Lowport Centre. This term participants will be devising their own production to be presented at Firefly's studio theatre in the summer. Sessions run weekly from January 16th to June 18th with two weeks off in April for Easter. Firefly is open to all young people and are looking for new members who are interested in anything theatre whether that be making theatre, performing, improvising, writing, directing, singing or doing costume, set, sound, lights.... anybody game for new arts opportunities and having a blast is welcome to join. Choir starts back Tuesday 14th January at 1:30pm in A7! Please remember to bring your music folders with you!

UKULELE GROUP

 

Ukulele Group is starting back! If you are in S1 or S2 and would like to learn how to play Ukulele come along to room A7 at 1:30pm! If you would like more information, see Miss Gillespie

 

Drama club will no longer be running due to school show rehearsals. Please keep your eye on the bulletin for other opportunities :)

Construction Challenge Final - Could the pupils listed below please make sure they have their EE2 forms handed back to the CDT department ASAP as the final is this Thursday (16th) @ Edinburgh Corn Exchange. We will be having a skills practice session Wednesday Lunch time in A1 @ 13.30 so that we can retain our title as champions!!

S5 Pupils

A careers event with M&G Financials (Prudential) will take place on the 6th February at their Edinburgh office for 2 half day events. M&G are a £12 billion investment company operating all over the world with a huge office based in Edinburgh. This is a free event for S5/6 students who are looking to get into the financial services sector. During the event they will take part in workshops led by leading professionals within the firm, network with M&G staff and hear all about their paid work experience and degree apprenticeship opportunities with some possible fast tracks on offer! Places are limited so please see Mr Forrester as soon as possible if you are interested.
