All Year Groups

 

Could anyone interested in entering the Indoor Scottish Schools Track & Field Championships please come to a short meeting in the Sports Hall on Thursday 9th at morning interval. Could the following pupils also attend - Jennifer Pretsel, Rebecca Duff, Rowan Whitworth.

 

Any final entries for the Linlithgow Rotary Photographic Competition should be submitted to Mrs Henderson by Thursday 9th January or submitted through Teams using the code 3bly8bf. There are two categories - Intermediate level age 11-13 and senior level age 14-17. The theme is 'Through My Eyes'. Photos should be a minimum of 6 inches by 4 inches and maximum A4 size in either colour or black and white. The winning prize is a £50 book token and runners up prize of £30.

 

S1 Pupils

The S1-3 Global Goals Water Challenge with Miss Baxter will resume on Thursday 9th January at 1.30 pm in B8! If you have not already completed a pre-challenge questionnaire please collect one from Miss Baxter and hand it in asap!

UKULELE GROUP

 

Ukulele Group is starting back! If you are in S1 or S2 and would like to learn how to play Ukulele come along to room A7 at 1:30pm! If you would like more information, see Miss Gillespie

S2 Pupils

Ski Trip

 

A reminder that the final meeting before the ski trip departs will take place on Wednesday 8th at lunchtime in room A28 PE/Drama classroom starting at 1.10pm sharp. Pupils are required to bring a packed lunch with them that day and reminded attendance is compulsory. Pupils must bring the following items with them to the meeting which are highlighted below. Pupils will also be able to collect their Hoodies at the meeting.

 


Pupils need to hand in on Wednesday:

  • Passport 
  • EE2 forms 
  • EHIC cars 
  • Medical consent forms  
  • Spare inhalers/epipen

S2 Great Home Economics Takeover 

Could all S2s please report to the Assembly Hall at 9.10 on Wednesday 8 January.  Please make sure you sit in your practical sets.  Classes 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 and 2.6 will then be taking part in the sessions period 2, 3 and 4 and classes 2.6, 2.7, 2.8, 2.9, 2.10, 2.11 and 2.12 will return to class for P3 then be taking part periods 5, 6 and 7. Can all P2 teachers please accompany their classes to the assembly hall at 9.10am. Thank you. "

2020 Ski Trip Meeting IMPORTANT

ALL pupils going on the ski trip leaving this Saturday (11 January) MUST attend the meeting on Wednesday 8 January, at 1,10pm in A28 Drama/PE classroom. Please arrive sharp and bring a packed lunch.

History Belgium Trip - September

 

A list of those who have a place on the History trip to Belgium is posted outside Mrs Bryson's room (B13). Make sure that you have collected a letter from your class teacher or Mrs Bryson by Friday. Your first payment date is Friday 24th January. All Payments will be done through Ipay which will be set up by the end of this week.

A careers event with M&G Financials (Prudential) will take place on the 6th February at their Edinburgh office for 2 half day events. M&G are a £12 billion investment company operating all over the world with a huge office based in Edinburgh. This is a free event for S5/6 students who are looking to get into the financial services sector. During the event they will take part in workshops led by leading professionals within the firm, network with M&G staff and hear all about their paid work experience and degree apprenticeship opportunities with some possible fast tracks on offer! Places are limited so please see Mr Forrester as soon as possible if you are interested.

 

Could Ross Maneta (5B3) and Rory Millar (5K1) please come to the main office for your NEC card.

 

 

The following S6 employability sessions will be taking place over the coming months. While this is an alteration to the original dates if you would like to attend any of the information sessions please drop your name to Mr Lawrie in A14.
